May 4th Hirwaun Trail.
A 5 mile walk with R. Evans (Tel: 07789 417938). This walk starts from Penderyn to Hirwaun and return.
Start Point: Penderyn Comunity Centre car park. If you go past the Penderyn Distillery you have gone too far.

May 18th Lower Drummau and a Pub
Please note this replaces our Bynea walk which will now take place in October.
K. Shaw (Tel: 07790 538197) will be leading this 5 mile mainly woodland walk. There will be a rocky/stoney path and a muddy section. We will be crossing fields which are uneven underfoot where horses are kept, so please bear this in mind if you are nervous around horses.

June 1st Tennant Canal Towpath, Bus and Beach
Join C. Roderick (Tel: 07811 505 800) on a bit of an adventure on a new way of doing this walk. We will access the canal towpath at Jersey Marine and walk along it in the direction of Swansea to Port Tennant where we will take the bus one stop and alight at the Swansea Bay University Campus where we will stop for lunch. After lunch there will be a short walk on the beach leading into Crymlyn Burrows before returning to the Towers Hotel in Jersey Marine for refreshments. Apart from a short gradient at the start, this is a flat walk but could be muddy in sections so please wear appropriate footwear. As we may experience a few showers along the way, please bring appropriate rainproof covering. It is a walk of approximately 6 miles.
NB: If anyone feels they only want to walk the towpath or if the weather turns against us there is the option of staying on the bus as it stops right outside the Towers. The towpath is 2.5 miles.
As we will be taking the bus if you have a bus pass please remember to bring it along.

Molly's Walk
Join R. Evans (Tel: M 07790 667893) on a 5 mile relatively easy flat walk in the Resolven area taking in a section of the canal towpath. Whereas we are not going to Melin Court Waterfall, we will be looking down on it. It will involve crossing a field so there could be some mud.

Brian Parsons will lead us on a 5 mile walk in Margam Country Park to the Highest Point loop from Margam, views of Margam Stones, Stone Monument at the Summit, and Stags of Margam.

July 13th Ogmore. CANCELLED
DUE TO THE HOT WEATHER IT HAS BEEN DECIDED TO CANCEL THIS SUNDAY'S WALK. IT WILL BE POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE.

Nearest postcode is CF32 0QP. Go past the Peligan Inn on your left and Ogmore Castle on your right for a short distance. Take the first left which is a small road where we can park but check with Walk Leader if unsure.
Meet at Halfods, Cadoxton Retail Park, Neath at 10am for directions if unsure.

September 7th Briton Ferry Woods.
Join C. Roderick (Tel: 078 11 505 800) on this 6 mile walk in her local area which will take in Briton Ferry woods. There is a long gradual climb at the start where we will take our time. We will be going quite high so hopefully if the weather is kind to us we should have some lovely views.
