A local approx 5/6 mile walk with C. Roderick (M 078 11505 800). Mostly through woodland, through a farmyard which joins pavemented road at the top past Neath Golf Course and back into Craig Gwladys.

December 1st The Foel Masts.
Due to the boardwalk being vandalised in Porthcawl and the path being temporarily closed, we have had to change the planned walk.
E. Knowles (Tel: 01639 896852) will now lead us starting from the layby at the top of the Cimla up to the Foel Masts and then back down the zigzag path passing T-Bones which will take us back to the starting point. There is a climb up to the masts but downhill from there.

December 15th The Red Lion.
R. Evans (M 07790 667893) will lead us on our 6 mile traditional Christmas walk This will be a new way of walking there avoiding the boulders starting from Penderyn Village. We are not allowed to eat our own food in or outside the pub but there is a pizza facility with pods outside if members wish to indulge.

March 9th Resolven to Aberpergwm/Glynneath
Unfortunately due to fallen trees as a result of recent storms, the paths on our intended Burma Road walk are blocked so we are having to change the scheduled walk.
J. Fear (C/o M 07790 66789) will now lead us on a 4 and a half mile canal walk to Glynneath and back. This gentle route follows the contours of an 18th century canal towpath which transported coal and timber in its hey-day.
